Headed to Prosser for wine tasting today. I had enough discipline to buy just one bottle of wine: A 2006 pinot gris from Airfield Estates.
The description should give you an idea of why I chose this one: This estate grown Pinot Gris is a rich, full bodied wine with flavors of bananas and pears with just a touch of residual sweetness on the finish. This Pinot Gris is food friendly , paring well with Pacific Salmon, shellfish and pasta dishes.
Tonight I chilled out. Ate dinner at Jerome’s, went out for some coffee and came back and watched Dr. No, the first James Bond movie. A nice, relaxing night.
